Eeshani Mitra (born 1999, Kolkata) is a visual artist and zine maker. Her work encompasses various media, including photography, video installation, sound and print. By employing a range of image production techniques, she juxtaposes common objects—such as floral articles, linen, wax, vinyl, and other synthetic materials—to create vivid imagery where the foreign and the familiar collide. Eeshani divides her time between Kolkata and Mumbai.
Her work has been featured in group exhibitions, including ‘Portrait of Time’ (2024, Mumbai), and she has held two solo exhibitions at Method India: ‘Synthetic Flower Dreams’ (2021) and ‘Electric Floral Fantasy’ (2024).
